The Unforgettable Trip in My Life(WA1)(Version3)

My second trip to Sabah in this summer was right after the trip to Japan. After the trip to Japan, my mother, sister and I were all obsessed with the feelings of traveling, so we arranged this trip when we went back to Taiwan. Just like japan, Sabah was not in our plan at first, we even didn't know that Sabah is a tourist attraction. I had only this Sabah in geographic textbook. Why this place came into our mind was because when we were browsing Air Asia (a cheap airline website) someday and saw an advertisement which said that the air ticket fare to Sabah was very cheap. So we searched the information about Sabah on the Internet and found out that almost everyone who has been to Sabah all recommended others to visit it. We booked the air tickets right away and also hotels. Actually, we almost canceled this trip, because my father was worried about our safety, he thought only three girls went to an unpopular place was a little bit dangerous. After we told him how much we wanted to visit this country, he finally consented to this decision and made this trip came to being.
I was so nervous before our trip, and still felt nervous after alighting from the plane because I didn't know this country very well. I was afraid there were lots of bad guys, which was the stereotype. However, the more you knew about this country, the more you loved it. People here were not so passionate like Taiwanese. When you saw them first you would feel that they were a little bit cold, but actually they were really kind people.
The focus of this trip was a leisure and luxury trip. We didn't arrange a lot of tourist attractions to visit; instead, we booked two nights staying in very expensive hotels (two different hotels), which I thought was very worthy. We spent time lying on the beach and watching the beautiful scenes; time seemed to stop at that moment. We also enjoyed one of  the hotels' buffet, in that restaurant we were surrounded by lots of foreigners that was a great memory for me (it's so cool).

There are also lots of wild animal resources in Sabah. We have seen several types of animals that are unique only in Sabah and rare to see, such as Orang utan and Proboscis Monkey(長鼻猴). To watch Orang utan(紅毛猩猩) is as important as to eat delicious food for us during the trip in Sabah. Because my sister is a big fan of Orang utan, when she saw them she said that she wanted to bring them home because they were so cute. One of the hotels we stayed has a conservation district of Orang utan, so we arranged one afternoon to visit there. After hiking a little bit; finally, we saw their cute figures climbing up and down and ran forth and back. There were three baby orang utans which were really tiny and just as big as two-or-three-year old human baby. The time we visited was their feeding time so that we could see them, or usually they would stay in the woods and in higher places. At that time, one was hanging on the tree and watching us; the others were eating the fruits provided and I found that they had a bad habit just like some of us that they were picky. There were a variety of fruits and vegetables, but those cute buddies only chose banana and some other sweet fruit, leaving lots of vegetables. However, during lunch, some uninvited guests appeared, I guess they were a kind of Macaca mulatta(普通獼猴), they rubbed a lot of food when those cute buddy were distracted or in front of their sight. The result was that half of the pictures we took were Orang utan.
Food, scenes, people, animals and both of my most beloved women created this amazing trip together. We tried to relax ourselves and forgot all the disturbing things in Taiwan. Every trip is a chance for us to create the sharing memory. Because of my mother’s job, most of the time we have to separate in two places so l cherish every chance I get to be with her a lot. After this trip we are all full of energy, so I have to say Sabah is really a good place to relax ourselves.

My Meaniful Object(WA2)(Version1)

I have always wanted to have a warm blanket that carries a lot of memory like others. I thought this was probably influenced by my brother. He had two blankets since he was little, and he had brought them to every place where had a bed. For at least twenty years, those blankets had become rags and my mother had to sewed them again and again. Watching my brother cherished them so much, l also had a strong desire to have my own one. However, l didn't have a chance to tell my mother about this for a long time. Until three years ago, I still could remember clearly, we went to Costco at Saturday night, and at that the day my little but sweet dream came true. I finally seized the critical moment to say out loud"mom, l really want that yellow blanket." As soon as I saw it from a far distance, l knew it was the kind that I wanted. In front of my sight, this object was shining even though it's color was a little bit close to beige. This blanket was made of artificial fur (100% polyester) and its color is between yellow and beige. Unfolding it, its width is 1.5 meters and its length is 1 meter, which allows me to roll myself up in it and it is large enough to cover my whole body when I am sleeping. To try to please kids, there are a duck head which was made to be a hat shape(kind of like hoodie), claws and a little tail. The color of those three sections are red. I love it not only its cute appearance but also its touch which is very soft and tender. Since I got it, I felt ecstatic joy as a little girl, I really wanted to scream and jump up and down at that time.
Most people cherished their blankets because they could smell their own odor that may relieve them on the blankets. That odor was built up by several years, so some of them don't want to wash them. But for me, I love the scent given off by fabric softener whenever my mother washed it, they really smell good. Although I owned this blanket only for two or three years, I still felt that there was some connection between the blanket and me. Just like that l  had owned for many years, and I think the relationship will be stronger and stronger as time passes. In a person life, there are certainly some things that he or she relies on, visible or invisible, item or person. As of me, I believe this blanket was, is and even will be my meaningful object for the rest of my life.

Sad News

I think I am going to miss Brother Elephant a lot. I really liked to watch baseball game since I was an elementary school student, and I was a big fan of Brother Elephant since then. In season, everyday will at least have one game except monday, so whenever I got the chance i would lie on the coach and enjor the game. At first, I could barely understand the rule,  and always felt confused about what they were doing; however, with time passing, I gradually found the really fun in there. Excited, thrilled and touched are the feelings that you will know when you find out what a baseball game really means, sometimes win or lose doesn't really matter, the unity between the players is the most important part during the whole game.
Actually, I have already forgetten why I loved Brother Elephant in the begining, I guessed it may because their were the most famous team at that time, and I also because of the color, yellow. Now, the reason why I love them is that the momentum which is represented by the color yellow; the unity, both players and fans, that always makes me feel impressived. I think every player in that team is very cute, but my favorite players are 彭政閔 and 王勝偉. One is the baseball star in CPBL and his position is First-base man; the other is one of the best shortstops, several "nice plays" would be showed by himduring the game. According to my description, it seems that I must have been to the baseball field. The truth turns out that I never went to the baseball field before.
My first time went to enjor the Brother Elephat's game was also the last chance that I ever got. The sad news came after this season finishing that the Brother Elephant decided not to operate this team anymore, so they said they would find the new company to run. Based on this situation, the league declared to hold two more games for their fans. After hearing this news, we booked the ticket right away. Feeling happy and sad in the same time, when we arrived the stadium, the crowd really shocked me, the line waited to go inside had surrounded almost half of the stadium, everyone wore the yellow shirts and brought the cheering sticks; I was really happy to see lots of fans but l knew that was the last time we're as Brother Elephant fans to watch the game. The cheering chant echoed during the whole game, we all toge ther created this history and witnessed by almost twenty thousand Elephant fans. The moment the game was over, we threw down the yellow ribbons even though we didn't win the game, tears dropping down on lots of fans' face. We sang the team's song, trying hard go remembered this moment. At the end, the all players sauntered around the field to thank the fans, and with the most beautiful firework I have ever seen, Brother Elephant walked into the history.

Everyone Pays the Price: summary & reation

Hadley McGraw was a good and obedient girl, also good-looking and excellent at study. However, she was attracted by an opposite type of boy, Martin who is a gang member. After falling in love with him, she left her family and lost her friends; she even drop out from school in order to stay with her boyfriend. Finally, she became one of the gang members and indulged herself with her boyfriend: taking drugs all day and all night, commiting crimes together and son on. Althought she stayed with him all day, she still felt uneasy all the time. This relationship has been continuing three and a half of year, her boyfriend wasn't always being with her, he had spent one third time staying in jail. The breaking point was after an accident, which let the girl decide to ban on the right track. She went to college and once again became a good girl; however, she was not the original girl any more. Even though she went back to her own life, she still couldn't forget the boy. Missing him and worring about him for she still loved him.
This story really impressed me because I also have a brother who was a gang member before. So some sentences in the story let me think a lot. "Gang membership of a loved one affects everyone around that person"and "I live each in fear and grief" thiese two sentences let me think of my mom' situation when my brother was still a gang member. She couldn't even sleep all night without thinking where was he or was he safe now. Once a family has a gang member, it will truely ruin the whole family. Your worries will never stop until you know he is out of that environment  forever. My mom is so exhausted to try to let him leave that place. So I think I am a little bit familiar with the feelings. This story is talking about a relationship between a boy and a girl who are supposed not fit each other. I haven't fallen in love with someone before, so I don't know what it feel like. I think to maintain a relationship need both of them work together, but in the article the boy seems didn't care so much about her and treated her coldly. So I don't think they should continue this relationship any more ; this isn't that I think they should not get together because of secular thoughts. If she could get her boyfriend out of that mess because of the power of love, I think that is an amazing thing.
